So, what exactly do you do?
I get asked this question every week without fail. I even have older clients asking me, wondering if I can help them out with some problem or another, different to how I assisted them on the last matter, or wondering if I can draw their will or help them with a house move…. Or help with a divorce, or represent them in a damages claim, or divorce.
The answer is simple, but long, and in a nutshell, I’m a Solicitor and Managing Partner of a firm on the outskirts of the Black Country and Birmingham that handles most legal matters on a day to day basis, including all of the above. I’m often sat at my desk representing clients, but sometimes I’m sitting in a Judge’s chambers making representations on a matter, or standing in a Magistrate’s Court, representing a defendant, or standing in the County, Crown or High Court, often in Birmingham, wearing a wig and gown.
Whether you’re drawing up a Will, buying or selling a house, need a Power of Attorney, have a boundary dispute, want to sue for personal injury or clinical negligence, take a lawyer to task over something they might have done wrong, or are in trouble with the Police, or simply want to divorce, have issues with contact or residence with children, or even have a dispute with your employer, or have a litigation issue – my office deals with almost all legal disputes. When I can’t help, I can point you in the right direction to someone who can. In short then, whatever legal problem you might have, my office can always be the first port of call.
My office has seven lawyers, six of which are Solicitors, and a trainee. The lawyers mostly have thirty years of experience or more in the practice area you need and are all well regarded and known in their practice areas. When you make an enquiry, you will be routed appropriately through to the right lawyer.
