Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS)
The Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) is a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices, highlighting firms with a high level of knowledge, skill, and expertise in conveyancing. We proudly hold the Law Society's CQS accreditation. This accreditation assures regulators, lenders, insurers, and residential homebuyers and sellers of our high levels of credibility and reliability.
Cyber Essentials
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme designed to protect organisations from a range of the most common cyber-attacks. Our Cyber Essentials certification demonstrates that we have implemented the essential cyber security controls to protect our firm and our clients. Regular reviews by a team of experts ensure the scheme remains effective against the ever-evolving threat landscape.
The Law Society
The Law Society represents, promotes, and supports all solicitors, helping them in turn to support their clients. It works to ensure that no one is above the law and that everyone has access to justice, promoting England and Wales as jurisdictions of choice and highlighting the vital role legal services play in our economy.
STEP
The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) is the leading global professional body for practitioners in trusts, estates, and related issues. STEP members help families plan their long-term financial future, facilitating good stewardship and financial planning across generations, and ensuring compliance with complex tax rules surrounding trusts, estates, and inheritance.
At NBB, we are proud to have Christian Nicholls and Mrs Joyce Bennell as fully qualified STEP members, underscoring their extensive expertise and commitment to high professional standards.
Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is the regulatory body that ensures solicitors in England and Wales adhere to professional standards. It operates independently of the Law Society of England and Wales. The solicitors’ profession encompasses single-solicitor practices to large global firms with thousands of lawyers, as well as roles within the justice system, government, and companies. All solicitors must follow the same professional principles and code of conduct, ensuring consistent and reliable legal services.
Our accreditations highlight our dedication to excellence and our commitment to upholding the highest standards in the legal profession.
